The friend that I mentioned in Jan. 1st's blog, called me today and we both apologized for things and I have to believe that we are going to work through this rough time that we had and still be friends. Please keep us both in prayer!!!

My family and I played some Wii games tonight. First it was Wii Bowling with my mom, bro, and I. Then it was just game of bowling between my bro and I. My dad came home from work, and then my bro, dad, and I played some Crazy Mini Golf game for the Wii that I bought. It is Crazy for sure!! We got tired of that game and played some Darts together. Then my bro had to go to work, and so my dad and I played some darts together. My dad got tired and I then played some basketball hoops and quiz game before finishing up. That is about all I did today beside be COLD. It is too cold for this Florida girl!!! LOL :)

I'm feeling so AWFUL for not keeping up with this project like I am supposed to be doing!!! I've been taking some pictures for it some of the days, just I keep forgetting to post them onto the blog. My mind has been so distracted with dealing with what I posted on the January 1st blog and work. So what I am going to do is post 7 pictures to make up for the lost week & just caption under each one what day it was for and what it is.

I went to work today, but after work. My brother and I saw the movie the "Princess and the Frog." Then I went home for a little while. My friend Toni and I met up to go eat dinner and then go watch "Did You Hear About the Morgans?" I thought "The Princess and the Frog" was a cute typical Disney movie. The movie "Did You Hear About the Morgan?" had me cracking up!!! I'd go see it again!!! (In fact, I'm going to go see it again with my friend Michelle tomorrow.)

Today at work, I worked on cleaning up the maps and helping reinforce them to last even longer. These are the only two South American countries that are in there right now, but I am planning on making sure that Peru is represented soon!!! :)

Some of my favorite people came to visit me at work tonight, (well the night of Jan. 7th). They are Gabi, Kayla, Ciera, Nicole, and Emma. Who you see in the picture above is Emma. She is striking a pose in her new hat!!! I just love the hat!!! It is the same style as my hat that I got in Peru. :) Before the year is over, I got to get a pic with Emma and myself with our hats on. :)

Jan. 1, 2010

Here is my first picture for the 2010 365 project. I know that I was supposed to take a picture each day and post it on here. However I didn't leave my house at all today because this first day of 2010 has not been too great emotionally. I think today I have lost one of the best friends that I have ever had. He is the friend that is pictured with me above.

So life right now is JUST MAJORLY STINKING FOR ME!!! :(( I hope 2010 improves from this day on!!!

Praise U Jesus!!!

I just got to say PRAISE YOU JESUS for YOUR AWESOME protection!!! I'm at work yesterday and I get a text message from my mother asking me to pick her up after work because she has no car. I answer her back with a "K" but in my mind I'm like ummm? Why did she just ask me that because we just took all the cars in turns to get some work done them on within the last month. So I thought maybe there was something else that needed to be done and I just was not aware of it.

Then less than an hour later, I sent out a random survey thing asking my family & friends what their favorite type of Rock Candy was and I get a response via text messaging from my brother telling me his favorite types of rock candy...and then the message goes on to say...I got in an accident. I'm thinking OMW!! I hope he is okay!! I know that my brother was texting me but still I didn't know what all happened here.

So I ended up finding out yes he was in a car accident and THANKS to JESUS my brother IS OKAY!!! He is a bit emotionally shaken up by it all but he may not admit that to many people. He is totally fine physically!!! I just can't stop PRAISING JESUS for HIS AWESOME protection!!! THANKS JESUS!!! You are my HERO!!!

I figured it is time to blog. ;)

One of the main reasons that I haven't blogged since July is because I forgot my password to get into this website and blog. LOL do I feel silly.

Since I last blogged, things have improved! I still have those moments where I feel that "I'm Not Alright" but not as often as they were happening the last few months.

I didn't get my job back as an elementary teacher at the school that I taught at for 3 years because the principal decided to hire someone else. I look at it from the outside now and I realize that it is a blessing from Jesus that I don't have that job right now. Jesus knew that I couldn't handle working there this year had I gotten my job back. So yes I am jobless because I have no full time job, but I am working as a substitute teacher.

I had also applied for 20+ other full-time teaching positions for the county that I worked for the last 3 years. I only ended up getting interviewed for 6-7 of the positions. I didn't get any of those jobs either. I had applied for different teaching positions out of the county as well and I didn't get any job offers from there either. So I have this feeling that the Lord has closed the door to teaching right now because He is moving me in another direction now. I have been applying for other jobs outside of teaching, and no job offers yet in that area either. I know that I will keep praying and trusting the Lord! I don't understand this direction yet, but I know that He has my back! He won't let me down and He will supply all my needs!!!

I did end up moving out of my apartment and back home with my parents. Thank goodness that I was able to move back home with them!

I know from the world's point of view that I am worse off that last year, but I beg to differ with them on that one! Yes I have lost my apartment and my full-time job, BUT I am even closer to Jesus than I was before! To me that means more than anything else in this world!!! Because if Jesus is with me, then I have nothing to fear! He will ALWAYS be there for me!!!

The last couple of days, I've been a bit bummed about the election as well. It didn't go as I had hoped but I believe the WORD of God (the BIBLE) and it says in...

Romans 13:1 ~ Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

Although the election didn't go the way I had hoped, I'm standing firm that the president elect is the one that God had planned to be the next president of the USA. Everything happens for a reason, even though I or maybe even you may not fully understand why it is happening.

As I was typing up this blog, I went to go check out my daily verse on Facebook and this is the verse that I saw there...

Romans 8:28 We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

So tonight! I am confessing that God's word is true and that as long as I am following His plan (not sure what the full plan is yet-but I know Jesus will let me know when I need to know!) for my life, then I will have nothing to worry about!!! Thank you Jesus!!!!

I'm Not Alright!

Time and time again I've heard that everything happens for a reason, or God has bigger and better plans for you, or God closes one door and opens another one. I know this all true and I believe it, just right now at this point I pray that it really is true! Because I can't take anymore of this "junk" that keeps coming up in my life. I know it isn't nearly as serious as other people I know and what they have been facing in their lives lately. I just know that I personally can't handle it anymore and I can't go on anymore on my own! I'm done! I'm not Alright! I'm broken! They only way I can be fixed is through JESUS!!!! I Need Him now!
